Sharon Pinhas
Sharon is a fully qualified and registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, children, and families.
Family and systemic psychotherapy – also known as family therapy – can help those in close relationships to better understand and support each other especially when things feel stuck. It enables family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely and work together to make useful changes in their relationships and their lives.
Sharon is part of the therapy team at Harwood Child Psychology and offers clinics on Monday and Tuesday afternoons at Kings Cross and London Bridge. She is available for both online and face to face appointments and can offer a mixture of individual or family appointments.
Sharon has worked in a wide variety of settings within the NHS and Children’s services. She has professional and personal experience of neurodiversity and the impact on family life. She has a particular interest in working with families who are experiencing Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA), in which she runs groups to support parents in her NHS role.
Sharon specialises in working with both child and adult focused problems. She has experience of working with a range of difficulties including:
- Couple/family relationship issues
