Jordana Zoanetti
Jordana Zoanetti is a registered Clinical Psychologist with specialist expertise in working therapeutically with children and adolescents. She works in the NHS in a child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) in London as a senior clinical psychologist. She offers therapy sessions with Harwood Child Psychology one day per week on Tuesdays.
She brings many years of experience supporting young people and their families. In her different NHS roles she has gained experience supporting young people and families from infancy through to adolescence. She believes strongly in including parents and carers in treatment in order to be most effective.
Jordana has worked across a range of NHS CAMHS services, including community and outreach settings. Working in the NHS has meant that she has developed extensive experience delivering psychological assessment and intervention in quite complex mental health cases. She prides herself on being able to build relationships with young people who are otherwise quite distrusting of professionals.
She is skilled at assessing and working therapeutically with neurodiverse individuals and their families and will adapt her interventions accordingly.
Jordana draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual needs of each child and family, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment-focused work, and parent-infant interventions.
Jordana also has significant experience offering consultations to schools and other professionals involved in a child’s care, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach.
She currently works in an NHS community service focused on promoting the mental health and wellbeing of infants and their caregivers, as well as offering therapeutic intervention to children and adolescents.
