Jenny Reeves
Dr Jenny Reeves is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with twenty years’ experience of working in a range of NHS mental health and assessment services. Being a consultant psychologist means that Jenny has reached a very high level of qualification and experience, enabling her to lead entire mental health teams, including supervising and training other clinicians. Jenny is experienced at assessing both complex and more straight forward cases, including those that can be trickier for less experienced clinicians to assess.
Jenny has considerable experience of working in specialist CAMHS, where she has previously been a Clinical Lead and a member of the Senior Management Team. Jenny has also worked in an NHS adult ADHD team completing diagnostic ADHD assessments for adults. She is experienced in diagnosing and assessing autism and ADHD in both adults and children. She has considerable experience in working with neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, tics and Tourette’s Syndrome, and specific learning difficulties. Jenny has extensive experience and training in working with a range of mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD.
Jenny is trained to complete NICE guideline recommended assessments in autism and ADHD. Whilst she completes highly rigorous and gold standard assessments, she is also able to provide a sensitive, compassionate and non-judgemental space, gently and carefully taking families through the assessment process.
Jenny is passionate about high quality assessments and support for young people and adults. She is hardworking, reliable, thoughtful, and friendly. Jenny is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist. She has enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) clearance. She qualified as a Clinical Psychologist after completing her doctoral training at the University of East Anglia.
