Emma Rhodes
Dr Emma Rhodes is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with children, young people and their families. Emma acts as a lead clinician for neurodevelopmental assessments at Harwood Child Psychology.
Emma qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013. Since this time, she has delivered psychological assessment and therapy with children and adolescents, including those with neurodevelopmental conditions, across a variety of NHS mental health services. Emma has also worked within NHS specialist autism and ADHD assessment services. As such, Emma is skilled at assessing and working with a wide range of complex presentations. Emma continues to work as the clinical lead within an early intervention service for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate psychological difficulties, alongside her private practice.
In all her clinical work, Emma’s priority is to provide a calm, compassionate and non-judgemental space within which families can feel secure to explore their experiences, develop a better understanding of difficulties, build skills and work collaboratively to move towards their goals. Emma is passionate about supporting the wellbeing of children and young people, building on their strengths and intervening early in the development of any difficulties.
Emma is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and holds a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
