He has substantial experience working with adolescents and young adults, with a special interest in this time of development - understanding older adolescents and young adulthood can be an exciting and turbulent time to navigate. Anthony is experienced at supporting when challenges can emerge through this period including, struggles with gender and sexuality, managing chronic health conditions, feeling lost or without purpose, to relationship struggles.

As a therapist, Anthony is interested in the creation of an open space for thinking from known positions into unknown positions, which may hold the potential for development and growth. Anthony believes this process of working through the self can offer relief, better understanding of the self, and the possibility of other ways of being in the world.

Outside of his work with Harwood Child Psychology, his most recent roles include, Specialist Adolescent Psychotherapist, Parent Support Lead and Clinical Case Manager in an NHS Adolescent inpatient unit. Anthony also recently worked as Lead Clinical Supervisor for a London Major’s Office funded intervention supporting young people affected by serious youth violence, and ran a small child and family clinic in West Africa.

Anthony began his education practice undertaking a BSc in Psychology at Goldsmiths University in the early 2000's. He completed his Masters degree in Psychoanalytic Observations and Child Development at the Tavistock Centre in London, a centre for child mental health training, treatment and research. It is here he also went on to complete his doctorate clinical training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. Anthony is a full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists. Anthony is a keen writer, continuing research into mental health and social identities, and involvement in academia, supervision, and group facilitation.
